Default can terrapins eat frozen rodents as a treat?

can terrapins eat frozen rodents as a treat if they are cut up

lol i what to buy my babies a wee treat

and i was thinking a pinkie and a chick

but i would cut them up

Terrapins can eat pinkies yes, but only as a treat as you said. Their nutritional value is not great but it does make for an enjoyable treat from time to time =]. Not sure about chicks, but I should imagine they will be okay.

i would think chicks are ok as long as there is no hair on them (could result in problems, i dont know). make sure they are well thawed first obviously. and i think the turts would just rip them apart lol saves on the cutting up of it (bet that would be grim)

If you're thinking of feeding them cut-up chicks, wouldn't it be easier and less messy to just feed them bits of chicken?

Totally agree Graham.
I feed my turtles chicken and egg/eggshells from time to time.

Chicken is bad when considered as a staple diet....It should only ever be a treat.....
