Red face no hibernation?? help dont no??

my 3 year old horsefield has been with me about 2 months now an i have no plans for hibernation she lives manly in a viv with constant heat which does vary end to end of the viv, and a daylight bulb (dont no the proper name) the shop i bought it of sed ther was no need to hibernate providing i kept the heat lamp on, i am now worried after reading on here this could not be good for my baby please help i want to give her the best possible life thanx

Personally I'd say not to hibernate him this year as you've not had him very long - read through the Horsfield care guide which is a sticky at the top of the page which will give you loads of correct information on Horsfield care. The shop in my opinion haven't given you the best advice for the tortoise.

Spot on Mrs M, try www.thetortoisehouse.com Lisa keeps and breeds them, and has done for many years. Good advice.
