Are these good for small turtles? what size are they normally? im about to order some but dunno if i should.

Bloodworm is VERY good for small turtles! As with most types of fish!

Buy some frozen Bloodworm and feed 1 quarter of a cube every 2-3 days.
NOT everyday!
Regular turtle food should be given twice daily or less if tank maintainance is required.
2-4 pellets and a couple of shrimp should do a couple of turtles for one meal.

So 4-8 pellets and 4 small shrimp daily with bloodworm twice weekly will keep your little guys nice and healthy and give them a nice balanced diet!

Only have the 1 baby turtle, what would you reconmend? what about the daphia (sp)

How do ya feed it, just drop it in and hope the Musk fionds it?

Daphnia, like bloodworm is good on ocasion but should never be used as a staple.
Musk Turtles do enjoy a bit of daphnia in their diet :P

I would reccomend you feeding this baby turtle as follows:

Daily

Morning: 1-2 pellets
1 small shrimp

Evening: 2 pellets
1 small shrimp

Every two days

Morning: 1-2 pellets

Evening: 2 pellets with a quarter cube of bloodworm
(Feed bloodworm in a separate container as it is very messy and hard for turtles to find.

(Daphnia can be fed like bloodworm but bloodworm is better for your baby turt.

thanks. I just give him a mini mealworm to try, funny watching him drag it around and chase it due to the filter moving the water around. I have pictures of it. Upload later.

Im buying these of ebay frozen. I can have 5 of these but which ones should i get

mealworms are a good treat but shouldnt be fed as a staple diet. bloodworm and daphnia are good for the turts. if you buy live they will hunt them down which gives them good exercise.

I know, they are fatty and high protein. Just wanted to try it. I had to cut it up in the end. was to big for him. he was swimming around with it and it looked like a dog running with a bone in its mouth Seemed to enjoy it.

I reccomend Bloodworm, Brineshrimp and Daphnia. Krill is okay on occasion but it's really a saltwater fish food so it's not really that suitable. I would avoid it completly.

Have you got any pellets? Such as "KingBritish Turtle and Terrapin Complete?"
This will be your turtles staple diet so it is a MUST that you get this food!

Bloodworm, brineshrimp, daphnia etc... only on occasion (every 2-3 days)
