Default How would horsfield tortoises cope in a Spanish climate?

Hey,

Even though i'm making a thread asking about this, this doesn't mean im moving or anything (unfortunately) but i'm just curious?

Would the mediterranean life make them happy and be perfect for them, or would it be just that little bit too hot?

Mike

I'd assume they would adapt, don't they have hot summers where they are found in the wild, it may be short but I thought it could be hotter than we have?. As its damp they hate then they'd probably love the dry med

I am also sure with time your tortoise would adapt to whatever weather, except cold and damp/wet climates. You would just have to be patient and not panicif he/she does odd things.
