I have an adult Hermanns who is well in his forties. Until the last week or so he has been feeding and lively, however over the last few days he has been quite lethargic and in particular his appetite has not been good. He has nibbled at some dandelions - leaves only - and he did have a drink this morning but he seems to have lost all interest in his food. The weather has been a bit colder this week so he has spent most of his time in his indoor pen under his heat/light or snuggled up under the towel he has in there to burrow in. He looks happy enough and his eyes are bright but I am concerned about his not eating as much as he has been doing and I don't want him to start losing weight as we approach the latter half of the summer and start thinking about hibernation.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Could he have worms? I haven't seen anything obvious in his poo. Is it just the drop in outside temp? All thoughts welcome.
