hi could someone tell me roughly how much weight a tortoise should put on ?eg in a month

Wow a question I can answer! I was told on here about 2 - 4 grams a month but that was for a horsfield so it may be different for each tort type

hi thanks for that. mine is a horsfield ,i tought it was about that

yeah i'd say a couple of grams a month is about right,anymore than that then theres a risk of over growing!

I have had my red foots for about 18 months now and weigh them every month, they have een putting on between 4 and 8 gramms a month
