Default tortoises kept together

I have a Spur thigh tortoise and on the paperwork i got with her 2.5 yrs ago, her country of origin was the Lebanon although it is marked as "CB", i would like to purchase another couple of them in a year or so and wanted to do my homework first, and learn as much as i can before i get them, is it possible to keep/breed her with other Med species of spur-thigh tortoise. can anyone help please

it would be possible to breed with another spur thigh (as long as the other one has certs and its same sub species) but if you get another one you must quaranteen it for 6 months just incase it has any illnesses etc etc

It is important to establish which sub species of spur thigh you have, do you know?

You can mix with other gracea's but obviously avoid mixing with other spur thighs.

Hope this helps

Hi a pic would be brilliant to see which sub species you have, as on every spur thigh paper work it states testudo gracea only and not which sub species it actually is, you could well have an ibera which is the most comman gracea, so pics would be best, hope this helps.

Jules - you actually have a Turkish ibera, I checked on a photo you previously added to the D3 thread!
