i just looked,there are probably a few genuine sellers there but most seem to be adverts for dealers,which ads in particular have you seen?

are you after 1 male and 1 female? you need at least 3 females to 1 male as the male will harass the female and seriously stress her out,how about getting a couple of babies from a breeder,you cant tell their sex though till around 5yrsso you have to be prepared that they may not get on and have to seperate them!

Be very wary of people selling 'breeding pairs', as I have known of people buying them only to find the torts are suffering from breeding exhaustion and no longer producing fertile eggs or worse (dead in shell, genetic defects in hatchlings etc.) Also, when people have torts from hatchlings and find they have a male and female, these are then sold as breeding pairs - you really need to ensure that they are not related.

The ratio for breeding is one male to at least two females.
