Need to know what age they are to advise properly, but basically they start life as mainly carnivorous and gradually eat more veg as they grow older, they need feeding daily as hatchlings but less regularly as adults.

Hi Tony, there are many things you can feed them.
High calcium foods such as - prawns, shrimps, dried terrapin foods such as reptomin, aquatic snails, cuttlefish and white fish are great all the time
High protein foods such as - bloodworm, frozen beefheart cubes, ant eggs, fish foods etc are good for a treat maybe once a week
Live aquatic plants should be made available all the time really (you can stick some in a bucket outside to grow and never have to buy another plant again)
You can also treat them with bits of fruit and raw veg, although I find they dont like to eat much (must know its healthy stuff)
