Just another wind up post - torts in unsuitable environment, being teased with a ball (they will think it is edible and so bite it relentlessly, leading the more gullible of us to thing it is a play thing). I think their carapaces speak volumes as to their care. What a waste of everyones time your posts are Andrew! Yawn!

Why is everyone so against tortoises playing with balls? I know they dont play with balls in the wild but they also dont have the food coated with nutrabol or live in 3 foot by 2 foot tort tables, andrews put this pic on here so people can have a bit of a giggle, something you dont see very much on this board

Torts dont play. Also thay could get heart/tip up. Putting torts down indoors is not a good idea. If you wont to give a ball to a pet get a dog/cat.

Andrew put his torts down on the carpet to take this picture of them with the ball and i really dnt see why they cant play with balls once in a while?

As for wizzasmum's comment, andrews torts were like that when they got him because unlike alot of people he took in 2 older ones that people wouldnt want and that were obviously not being cared for prior to andrew having them, are you against people having older torts that havnt had a good life so far??
