as already mentioned hun, if he's definately male..consider getting at least three females..any less n as he becomes sexually mature he'll pester another tort.

DEFINATELY quarantine. I didn't think i'd need to when i got my second tort n both ended up ill. So i'd definately say quarantine.

n Andy ur gettin another hermanns :S i'm confused i thought you were after a leopard now :S

leopards are harder becuase i cant put them in with hermanns

if i just get another tort then i can put it in with dom and matrix after quarantine

ah right. where u gonna get the tort from then? Hatchling,sub-adult or adult? rescue or captive bred? i'm nosey.just mainly coz if it's a hatchling n turns out to be female the poor wee thing would be pestered to buggery lol

the ones at the breeders have only just hatched last week so im going to leave it for a couple of weeks or so

hi have not thought it right through yet,so not sure about breeder or anything else yet, ,,still thinking about it ,happy with my george at the mo ,but thanks ,will come back on for info if i make my mind up,not going to rush in to it

Thats great news Andy......but you realise that Dom and Matrix are very big and your little one won't be able to mix with them for at least a few years, but I'm sure you will have already realised this. You will be gobsmacked at how small a hatchling is.
