i have decided not to get a red foot as i think i am not experiened to have one does anyone know which tortoise to have for a beginner please

Red foots are easier to keep than ibera's horsfield etc im my opininon. There diet is easy (can eat fruit, mushrooms, cat biscuits within reason). What has put you off having one?

I have Hermanni's babes and there very easy to look after,but to help you here is a link to Linda Kings tort guide she is one of the best experts in torts, and her guide will show you how to set up the best home for your tort;www.tlady.clara.net/TortGuide/index.htm.
