tort numbers
anyone know a ruff figure of how many torts die on average compared to the amount that live in wild caught shipments

I recon you should maybe try asking DEFRA I had a tort that was from slovenia and he died from a suspected bacterial disease which I believe he caught whist being shipped over here, I had to send his certificate back to let them know he had passed and I had to put a note with the certificate to say I was sending the certificate because he had died and I put his cause of death so I guess others will put cause of death too.

Still working on it, while i was, i came across this doc on the TPG site it does give some numbers on how many can be packed in one crate;  Cruelty.docTrafficking Sto You could also ask these people if thet have numbers;CITES - Convention International Trade in Endangered Species* - Home Page But give me time i might find more!
