Could you use other stuff like, calypso because that is 99% pure calcium and has no added stuff

Nutrobol is best for young torts, it isn't just calcium, it has vitamins and minerals in as well. Limestone flour is calcium.

Yes it used to be said that you should only put Nutrobol on a couple of times a week, people also used to mix Nutrobol and limestone flour 1:7, but it is a no no, because you don't actually know you are giving the right amount of either product!

Give growing torts Nutrobol and limestone flour daily, just sprinkle a bit of each on their food. Adult torts (fully grown ones) only need the Nutrobol a few times a week, but stil use limestone flour!

Torts don't have a problem with Nutrobol if they are used to it and it isn't off.

I wouldn't have said a fridge myself as surely it will get damp? It needs to be kept in a cool dark place.

I tip some out of the main tub into something small with a lid. The main tub is then kept in a cupboard and the little tub I use daily is kept by the tort table.

Mine's kept in the fridge n it doesn't get damp it just stays fresh for longer.. I put mine in little zip bags, also found that keeps freshness in..tho i suppose the tub in the fridge should work just as well
