Unhappy auboise eating

hi ,just revamped my tortoise indoor enclosure with 50%soil and 50% sand and then put some auboise on the top ,i am bit worried since i have put him back in he is eating the auboise ,it is the first time i have used this ,will he be ok

He should be ok Torts will often munch on new things. Hemp is not toxic and will pass throue. Just keep an eye on him but i wouldent worry about it to much

As others have said, its harmless if ingested. I have to remove all hemp during wind down as my torts will eat it when food is being withheld.

It comes out the other end, but if you see any stringy bits hanging from the cloaca (sorry I know this isn't a pleasant subject ) don't be tempted to pull on it, it will come out......a nice warm soak in the bath will help.
