Thx Pheobe, you and Tams give great advice and along with Tortoise Trust etc. I was armed with all the knowledge i needed to start off on the right track and my lil hermans are uk captive bred!

I really am going to make sure they have a great life and am working on creating an exciting, safe and appropriate outdooor enclosure for them and i already have lots of weeds growing which i purchased from shelled warriors and TLady.

Thx Torres

Thank you Rob, how nice of you to say but it is all TT advice (and personal experience) so I really can't take the credit

Sounds like you've been well and truely bitten by the 'tortoise' bug, it's so easily done <g>.

Fantastic table and pebbles in the water dish has always worked well for me!

Thanks for the compliments, but as Phoebe stated tis the TT that deserves the credit - Andy Highfield that has taught me all I know!

Hope your babies thrive for you!

Wow, thx for all your kind replies and coming from such knowledgable breeders and owners, also makes me smile from ear to ear , i always enjoy reading Wizzamums posts and she sure knows her stuff!

Tams, they were born South of England, from several different breeders on the TT list of recommended breeders, but i had better not mention their names without their permission.

hi Bling, i have named them Roxanne, Millie, Layla and Amigo. They were bred to be female but one is acting very male and likes to mount the others, although by all accounts female torts do this as well, so only time will tell if they are all female.
