Smile Hope you like my Tort set-up

just thought i would post some pics of my table and hatchlings and introduce myself to this controversial forum.

so, hello to all forum members and i look forward to any advice available and will do my best to pass on good advice where i can.

I love your pic's and think the babys are very sweet!

Just one quick question, maybe i'm missing it...

Does the habitat have a water bowl, can't seem to see it form here.

All the same that is one gorgeous set up you have there, hoping mine will be as nice when i get me bigger tank for me redfoots and cherry head

It is not a good idea to put a water bowl in with tiny hatchlings as there have been people who have had them drown. A couple of good supervised soaks a day can get around this problem. I'm thinking shot knows this too which is why he doesn't have one in there

RaohNS, yes the water bowl is the bowl with pebbles in (it was actually empty at the time the photo was taken as I had just sterilized it) but is now filled with evian mineral water. But thanks for making sure my lil hermans have water available

hi Bencook, i had thought about that as well (the drowning bit) so i use a very shallow bowl with pebbles in and it works fine as they are above the water level and just dip their heads in and take a sip

Great Torts! My Girl loves those and keeps a few herself but hers are in the garden as they are old enough to live out there! I know exactly what shes going to say when she see's your pics tho
