I have a 3 year old tort who also "eats air"...

It is very small in overall size for its age, I have had this tort from an egg, so I have watched/studied it for some time...In my opinion, my tort is either partially sighted, or blind.
At first, I confess to helping the tort eat/drink, but that was short lived. Torts have a great sense of smell, so he goes about his business by himself, although I do make sure he has adequate time for hydration/baths...T.T.
