Do you or do you not need to bath your torts? If it is recommended how often should you do this? How warm should the water be and how long should they be in the water?
I have just acquired a spur thigh tort from WEAVS she/he is so cute pics later i just need some name suggestions please>

Yes you do need to bathe torts - how often and for how long depends on the tortoise, how old is the tortoise?

The water ought to be tepid/luke warm and depth to under the tortoise's chin. You need to ensure that the water does not go cold.

I never bathe my adults - they know where the water dish is and would go bananas if I started shoving them in it. They all drink when needed and and all are well hydrated which you tend to find when outdoors permanently. I bathe babies when indoors but again they help themselves when outdoors and are well hydrated. Just my humble opinion.
