Default Outside enclosure

Ok as some of you might know I'm sorting an outside enclosure ready for next year. I've just moved so a bit tight in the pocket at the mo. I can afford to build a 4m by 2m enclosure. Is that big enough? I know the bigger the better but the wallet is restricting me a bit on this one.

Hi,

Ben how big are your torts?

I have very tiny hatchling so this year there pen outside was only 3m long and a 1m wide next year i will make it wider and a bit longer, but they will still very tiny!

If money is a bit tight at the moment why not give your self more time and build next year!!

I have had a look around and can just about stretch to 3M by 6M. Would this be suitable for two adult Margies, I want to think long term really

I'm not sure on that, as i only have babes at the moment, but it does sound to small for adults, i could be wrong though!!

Hmm, the breeder I got mine from has a sanctuary and her enclosures for her adults were less than a third of that! I don't want to be cruel in fact I want as big as I can but if I go much bigger they will need their own plot of land! I am talking Metres here not feet just in case. six metres by three is quite a large area, I knew they needed a lot of room but blimey
