You are recommending a shop that in its care sheets advises that this should be fed to them " Feed beets, spinach, cabbage, and/or kale in small amounts. Supplement leafy diet with (squash, sprouts, and zucchini). 10-15% of diet may include fruits"

If this is their advise on how to feed, god knows where they get these poor torts.

I don't think antone in there right mind should buy from this place!!

I know you were trying to help, but remember when it comes to the internet, any [removed] can have a professional looking site made!

There should be laws in place in this day and age, that target internet sellers, which protects the buyers!!

Like i said before i know you were trying to help, i'm not getting at you, just very mad that this type of place still exsists!!

mollybags i'm disgusted you are already putting down this guy and his shop before you know the full details and how good is reputation is on here, he is also a member and i imagine he won't be very impressed to read this either.
I'm disappointed

I don't need to know his reputation, because i have made my comments based on the wrong feeding advise given for Hermann's under his care sheet section, that i then copied and pasted from his site!!

I care for the welfare of torts and if that is what they are being fed, then they won't be healthy torts, which means anyone buying them, will end up with a large vet bill !

You should not be diappointed in me Toptort, i care about torts!!

The info I gave came from his mouth this afternoon!! He stated quite openly after going to check that the hermanns were from Slovenia and that the Cherry Heads and Indian Stars were (he thought) UK bred! I I don't care if your friends were happy or not, they are still a large scale wild animal importer and to most people with any morals that stinks!

And where do you expect to get an older one from? The wild? A hatchling from a breeder is not a problem but an older one full of parasites from it's native land and others picked up on route will be. Phew you sure can be relied on to come out with some poo Andy! I have never ever had a hatchling die. The only ones dead that I have bred are ones not being cared for as agreed. It was very upsetting to have someone contact me and say :I found it dead in it's viv' and 'it either fell out of the window or got lost in the rubbish after leaving it unsupervised.'

But if he's giving inaccurate advise on his caresheets then he, also, must be 'caring' for the tortoises inaccuratly.
