Default Can anyone help ID these little guys?

As it says...can any one ID them?
Had them about 18 months now, they were given to us as hatchlings and were a little bigger than £2 coin. They are now the size of the palm of my hand.

Thanks

They were given to us by customs at the airport. They didn't know anything about them or even which flight they came in on!, just that someone had been stopped carrying them!

Hi,

Oh, how sad!! sounds like they were wild caught!

Are you you enjoying having them, i've got hermanns and i can't stop watching them, they are so much fun!

If you didn't know what they were, that must of been hard working out how to take care of them!! Thank god for the internet info at the finger tips!!

Thanks everyone so far.

Ok, I'm pretty sure they arn't hermans as when we first got them we took them to a specialist vets to get them checked out, he told us that they were to small to ID at the time but he was sure they wern't a species of tortoise that you see normally for sale in the UK.

Heres the underside of them both:

The vet you went to was not very specialised in tortoises. No tortoise is too small to ID.
