oh you totally have the right to choose who you sell to, that is not my point....and what has dealers got to do with it? yes many many dealers go there but so do many general reptile keepers like myself...but you are being very harsh about the people who go there in general, at the end of the day it is not for everyone...but to make comments and judgments like that about people just because they even go there is just plain wrong imo....its almost like saying anyone who goes in to a pub is an alchahol abuser (strange comparison but cant think of another one right now ) and yes there will be alchaholics in there and binge drinkers etc but there will also be decent, genuine nice people there also! to socialise and enjoy a quiet drink and a laugh with friends etc......and for the record i have not been to hamm yet myself, as something always seems to crop up etc....but i do fully intend to go, so does that make me a bad unworthy keeper of herps??

we do a trip by coach to Hamm 3 times a year leave friday night return sat night.

So if you want to risk being struck down by a bolt of lightning from the gods above for going to a show, check out the sticky in the general section.

Plenty of equipment there of all sorts, not so many torts, but sometimes you see a breeder or two. Of course they may be dealers or importers, thats for you to decide if and when.

I think as there are many and overall different reasons for keeping a tortoise so we shouldn't be to much astonished that some people behave "strangely".

I for myself enjoy reading wizzasmum's comments even if it sometimes may sound a bit "strange" to me.

But broadening my horizon would be very diffiicult when only reading comments from people who are just writing what I'm already thinking.


Keep on posting your opinion, wizzasmum, it's very appreciated.

When I say "opinion" I really mean just that. Thanks for the "facts" anyhow.
