OK I can't decide for sure what species this baby tort is that was brought in as a rescue as it was found wondering the streets. Can anyone help? thanks She was alot lighter when she was brought in, obviously shes darkened with the uv.

Hi your tortoise looks like a med spurthigh(testduo graeca) I would think looking at the picture its of possible middle eastern origin .

Its been confirmed by Mark at chelonia.com to be a hermanns. I was fairly sure it was as I have 3 hermanns here already.

Yeah i love them too. I have one as a pet and now 3 as rescues as well as a horsfield and two large leopards.
