Default Can i get a tort??

I was wondering if i would be able to get a tort but there are a few things concerning me.

1. Ol london is FREEZING so will that be a problem? I would HAVE to bring it in of a night and over winter.

2. LOTS of foxes down this way so i cant leave one out overnight anyway (my neighbour knows all to well with her rabbit)

I would like either a horsefield or a red leg/head (think thats what they are called)

well will that be a problem (i know about the general care for torts BTW)

thanks

i think you mean redfoot?

I live in London To.

Tortoise should get out as much as possible and yes, for safety you can bring them in at night

Horsfields are great diggers you need a very secure outside enclosure.
Red foots are tropical tortoises and dont hibernate as stated, outsde on very hot days and inside in the winter. Their diet is varied as they can eat fruit and some protein.
They are both great tortoises.
