what are good scales to use

and how do i measure?

snuff, the local dopeman recomends a digital scale. they are cheap and easy to slip into the pocket. just remember to tare it out and keep in mind the weight of the baggie

Any accurate digital scales are fine. Heres how to measure:

Am I the only one who's tortoise hates having that done?? Tried it with deemo n would he put his head in his shell..nope.. remarkable how strong they are when they want to be

It can be really difficult with some of them. I find horsfields to be the worst for letting you do it.

ah not just me being an idiot then ? that's a relief. kiara by comparison will quite happily put her head in her shell. Deemos just an awkward lil sod i think

Re weighing, I just take the container off my M&S scale and put my tortie on in his plastic bath container (remembering to adjust scale with this on empty first). Mind you I have an adult tort so he weighs a lot more than a small one would. So the 10g increments are OK for him.

XD ..... see I've got the hang of it now!
