Default vitamin a

hello does anyone know of a good way of getting extra vitamin a in to tortoises cheers

Why exactly? If you give nutrobal it will have a balnce of the correct nutrients for a tortoise. Extra vitamin A can be very dangerous and causes all manner of painful skin problems.

they get nutrabol etc but evey now and then toroises get eye problems and its usually down to vitamin a i must add this is a question for a customer i have come accross this problem a couple of times over the years and did no how you can get extra vitamin a but for the life of me can not remember and having only just moved cant get to my books right now cheers.terry

Dandelions are high in vitamin A.

A correctly supplemented diet would be very unlikely to be deficient in vitamin A I would have thought

Vetark's ACE High is the product you are after, it does what it says on the tin, its a multavitamin with extra amounts of Vit A, C & E. For use when there is problem such as the one you are dealing with and then when the problem is cleared up they should switch back to Nutrobal or Arkvits.
