Of course! I have a little rehabber that suffered MBD due to improper care and high protein diet too. Will see how she responds to being photographed tomorrow. She is winding down for hibernation right now.

Heres another that came to me with a tub of T-rex pellets. He had been kept in a viv from day one but could no longer walk properly. He had uvb lights and a basking lamp but had nothing to eat but T-rex pellets as advised by the pet shop. His spine is depressed and he cannot walk without dragging his shell. I have tried to integrate him with other horsfields but he cannot keep up with them or move away from them fast enough, plus because of his shape he cannot turn in the tunnels where they live, having constantly to be removed. He loved being outdoors but just could not be a typical horsfield any more so has gone to stay with a lovely lady who is happy to keep him as a single tortoise in his own garden enclosure with a little hut to live in to save burrowing.

Meant to add also that the strange discolouration of new growth disappeared after a change in environment and a decent diet.
