Question Hermanns tortoise breeders in Essex?

my question is, are there any? My daughter wants to buy a baby tort but has only been able to get information about pet shops, not breeders. If anyone can advise it would be much appreciated.

Thre are far more breeders in the South of England than in the North so should now be a problem. You do not say what species you are looking for but bear in mind that most responsible breeders hibernate their torts over winter so you may not be able to get one until spring, except a poor little thing in a pet shop that has been dug out for the pet trade
My own torts are slowing down for hibernation and will be out again in spring.

the title might give it away but yea like said your probably going to struggle finding one this time of the year unless you go to a pet shop!
