Ok thanks i will keep her in mind if we cannot get hold of one. I relaly wanted t oget the tort for my gf for christmas..is it too late 2 get hold of them now that its nearly winter?

Also we read that you should have the uv bulb and the heat lamp together..is this vital or would it be possible to attach the uv tube along the length of the table (longest part) and then obviously have the heat lamp at one end?

I have my uv strip along the side, you can get combined heat and uv lamps,its up to you!
you may struggle getting one at this time of year as most breeders will be getting ready for hibernation.

Yep lol, sorry i just thought people were going to dismiss my thread because they thought i was joking around, thank for the PM by the way! May have some pictures up tommorow evening of a tort table... home made.. but then again it may not go to plan! hoep so though

Anything else i should think of getting before going to b and q tommorow..

so far my list is..

-wood
-wood screws
-wood glue
-some pipe/bulb clips
-pivot type bulb holder

ermm i think thats it any more ideas? i know ive left it a bit late to post this lol
