Picking these up on the first of December!!! Cant wait

they look really nice.

just a bit worried about the time your getting them.

they should be nearly in hibernation.

who did you get them frm and hiw much?

They are hatchlings which you wouldn't hibernate

ok, its just that i was told that they hibernate at any age!

Yes drummerkid that is INCORRECT,you can hibernate from hatchlings most if not all uk breeders follow this rule. for happy healthy torts (obviously dependant on them being healthy and of a good weight)

they hibernate from hatchlings in the wild, which is alot less forgiving than our methods in captivity

I think it also go's on waight. Most breeders wont sell till a tort is 3monthes old so if it this age in december that is when it will be sold. If ther is no buyer waiting then thay will hibernate the tort. I see no problem with this. The torts look real nice post pics when you get them

They woudl hibernate in the wild, but it depends on the breeder.
