You could but they like the burrow to be the width of their carapace, it helps them grip when burrowing. Not sure why you would HAVE to keep them indoors though.

Mine will move out as soon as hubby sorts out a run for him. The plan will be to hibernate him for the worst of the winter so then he wont need to come in is that wot you do Sue.

well apart from the differance of burrowing (which i already knew!) are there any other differences
