You could also get him a cuttlefish to chew on too if he wants!
Do you give him baths?these are essential daily for growing torts to keep them hydrated, just make the water warm!

Yeah he has cuttlefish and i gave him his first bath since ive had him this morning. Ive only had him since saturday but keep worrying im doing something wrong with him. he seems to sleep an awful lot is that normal? well by that i mean he wakes up eats walks around for a while then sleeps again he has slept most of the day.

Could just be settling in. keep a close eye on him tho,

didn't you say his paperwork said germany? possibility he's an import.in which case he could be carrying a parasite load.

not sure how pellets effect their behaviour/activity levels though. Just know it causes long term shell and internal problems..maybe someone could shed light on whether that's having an impact or not

also stressed torts can sometimes sleep alot. try to make his table top as intersting as possible.nice deep substrate, n plenty of places to hide. I sink trays of different substrate into mine for a bit of variety

ask the vets for panacure.there is another wormer that they can use but i've heard bad things about it..the name escapes me unfortunately. Panacure is safe for torts tho

Well we've been out tonight and got him a new 10.0 UVB light so hopefully he is going to start to be a happy baby.
