Could just be settling in. keep a close eye on him tho,
didn't you say his paperwork said germany? possibility he's an import.in which case he could be carrying a parasite load. not sure how pellets effect their behaviour/activity levels though. Just know it causes long term shell and internal problems..maybe someone could shed light on whether that's having an impact or not also stressed torts can sometimes sleep alot. try to make his table top as intersting as possible.nice deep substrate, n plenty of places to hide. I sink trays of different substrate into mine for a bit of variety

id take a feacal sample to a vet and get them to test it for worms/parasites! |

ok cheers, If it is parasite does anyone know how to get rid? i have read in a few places bout worming them but it never gave much detail if things dont change once all the food changes im making have been done then i'll take him along to my vets to get him checked over.

ask the vets for panacure.there is another wormer that they can use but i've heard bad things about it..the name escapes me unfortunately. Panacure is safe for torts tho
