Default Doesnt eat his greens

im trying to get my hermans tortoise to eat weeds as the pellets i was advised to get for him are bad for his health but he will not eat the weeds ive managed to find some dandelions and sow thistle but he will not eat them any suggestion would be greatly recieved. As i'm finding it hard to find other weeds for him. Whilst i'm waiting for the ones ive bought to grow.

its just a matter of getting used to them.

the pellets are highly addictive sort of like chocolate but much much worse for them

dont be tempted to give in n give pellets..only offer weeds..he'll eat when he gets hungry

Thats great news, it seems cruel but a healthy tortoise will not starve itself. Keeping your tortoise hydrated is more important than it not eating.
