Question Is her weight healthy?

My Spur-Thighed tortoise is 2-3 years old and I just weight her, she is 220 grammes. I searched google to try and find the healthy weight for the ages and couldn't find any. Does anyone know if this is a healthy weight for her or if they know a website I can mark her weight against?

Thanks

my hermanns is about 800mm carapice length and she weighs in the region of 175g-ish so according to that graph she is morealess just under the average. i got told on here though that she was too overweight for her size?! which is right? do i go by the graph?

You can only tell if hes a healthy weight by his length to weight measurments.

Not age to weight.

This is only a guide so dont go worrying if any tortoise is slighly over or under. Remember slow growth is the key.

If that is a definate age it is overweight for it's age. I have a four year old that weighs around 150 gram and I consider that to be plenty big enough. See here for approximate sizes according to age Tortoises
