Default SOO worried - RES

I;ve been told by a very valuable source that when my turtle tilts when she walks or tries to swim....she might have RI.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Has anyone elses turtle had the same prob? I rescued her about 2/3 weeks ago now.

Tilting while she walks wouldn't be anything to do with RI, that sounds related to this back leg problem you told me about. You didn't mention anything about walking lopsided in your PMs, just swimming which is what made me think possibly RI as it's a classic sign.

Can you just go over the leg problem again, exactly what happens and how does it affect her?

basically when she walks, one of her back legs stays in her shell most of the time...so she drags that side of her lower body. ive had a feel of it to see if she pulls away or shows sign of pain but none of that.

Well it definitely sounds as though she's injured it in some way in the past and never recovered properly, if the lopsided swimming seems to be caused by this then I wouldn't be too concerned about RI, but watch out for the other symptoms I mentioned just in case.
