I too, noticed very little growth with all of my tortoises, but when I look back at older pictures I think "WOW! look how small they where then!" it might just be your mind playing tricks on you
. Keep in mind, that tortoises do grow slowly if cared for correctly, so it might just be you haven't had them long enough to notice any substancial growth in them. |

It is offen a common misconception as Darren has said that Cherry heads grow smaller than red foots. They can acually grow to the same size.
Cherry head 'normally' have a very red head.

I dunno how to post pictures? it asks for a link i guess u need photobucket or something which i dont have so dunno? he has grown its just hes around 9 now and around 7" i got him from a friend of mine he was a breeders tortoise but he was abandonned as she didnt need him any longer and let him loose in the park (silly woman) shes since had all her torts took off her and ive taken him in
