he's definately growing, see the lumpy shell, thats pyramiding caused by rapid growth.

do you weigh him monthly? and if so how accurate are your scales.. think i was told to get scales accurate to 2g if possibe, that way you can see exactley (or as near as damn it) how much weight he's putting on

I dont personally weigh him my vet Matt does hes a friend of mine n an expert in reptiles but not so much torts lol he's deffo a red foot tho?

he had the pyramids when i got him they gone down a bit since ive had him but i just assumed it was something they grew out of?

as katiexx said above, its caused by rapid growth.

They havent gone down but they've become less noticable as he grew.

well there becoming less noticable then he came from a horrible place so i dont even know what they did to him i know that he wasnt fed right at all and he had no UV and was in a little glass tank :-( where as now he has a nice tort table with a full uv and a lil house he loves and is eating properly so hopefully he'll sort out n grow up big and strong lol

Yep just keep him on the correct diet and it'll become less noticable but won't go away completly. well done for looking after him correctly, sounds like he had a bad start to life.



I made the pic in your sig a little smaller because at the moment its massive, lol.
