Hello Tina i've got three cherry head red foots, had them now for about five years, two males and a female. They're very friendly tortoises with loads of personnality. The female laid her first eggs last year at age eight. Unfortunately the eggs proved infertile, but she's started showing signs of wanting to lay again over the past few days.
I took them on as unwanted pets, but pretty sure they were bred in Germany.

Hi and to the forum.

I decided against cherry heads in the end because I wanted one which I knew for sure would be UK captive bred. I'm off to see some 6 month old Hermanns next week from a breeder in Cheshire so will hopefully be getting one of them.

Well done you for rehoming yours I'd love to see pics of them. Good luck with the eggs this time.

Got the tank all set up now and running at 82 so putting the Fly River in tomorrow. Reckon I will put a bag of coral sand in as well as the silver sand to help buffer the water
