im really struggling to find enough weeds to feed my tort. i dont want to feed pellets and have read that fruit and veg are not a good idea. has anyone got some suggestions on what else i can give her?

Have you though about growing some from seeds?

I have only had her about 3 weeks. I have orderd some seeds and waiting for them to arrive but need something for the mean time.

my weeds were shooting up in the first week or so but now they seem to have stopped growing! darnit!! im definately hibernating next year cos cant keep roaming fields for weeds!! i luk like a looney luking for dropped food!

Do you have a garden, fields or alley ways by you Kimberely? I live in London so isnt many but still have plenty of weeds about. You might get some funny looks at first but you get used to it.

neighbours are always handy, when my weeds were still quite young i asked to raid the neighbours gardens n weed them for free..they thought it was great lol

Ah, the common opuntia cactus ficus indica and algave americana, you could use those aswell if you cant find weeds.
