Default substrate change

How often should i change the substrate of my table?

what are you using first off.
I never really have a set time for changing substrates i just do it when it needs doing which i feel can be hugely different from species to species.

I use a 60/40 topsoil to sand ratio

spot clean daily, with a full substrate change every 3 months. Well thats what I do...

i must say tho, its very hard to notice if topsoil/sand substrate is noticeably 'unclean'

I know what you mean but I suppose that there is bacteria build up that we don't know about
