are their care any different to normal reds, and are they readily available as UK CB?

Do you mean cherry heads? If so their care is the same but I've been told on the 'housing for cherry head's' thread and through research that any for sale will be wild caught.

I believe that cherry heads need higher humidity and a majority of babies are imported from a farm in Barbados. (which is not the natural habitat of the cherry head)

I don't want to start the captive breed/wild caught debate but it is very diffiicult to catch baby wc torts. They are always hiden as that is their instint. Wild caught adults are easy to catch so usually the babies are captive farmed.
