i was thinking of egyptian as the are only small they grow to around 12cm is there any other species that are this small?

I got them from the only UK breeder in the uk (the one with the waiting list) unfortunately I got them via a dealer who has gone out of buisness so I can't help you. Really sorry about that. The name on the Artical 10 is Smith so that is not much help!! |

I have to agree with everything that has been said. They are very hard to keep, they can get runny nose at the drop of a hat and stress so easily.
I keep tunisians also and they are the same, they are fragile and do get runny nose if you dont get it right. Stars dont hibernate but yet again very fragile. Red foots are great tortoises if you have the space and easy to keep, plus they dont hibernate.

I keep an egyptian and have had it quite a few years now. They are fragile but with care can be kept successfully. I know a lot of tort people on here do not agree with my methods so I am not going into that.
