I got them from the only UK breeder in the uk (the one with the waiting list) unfortunately I got them via a dealer who has gone out of buisness so I can't help you. Really sorry about that. The name on the Artical 10 is Smith so that is not much help!!

i feel im quite confident with my hermanns... whta size do morrocan T.g.gracea get to?

They are naturally very fragile and one should never become lax with their care, not for the inexperienced keeper.

I totally agree, I've been keeping torts for 5 years now, and I still wouldn't feel confident enough to keep an egyptian. The only place I've ever heard of egyptian torts doing well is in zoos ect, and I've seen some of the chester torts (The males I think) and they where doing excellent, but the keeper did comment on how fragile they are.

I have to agree with everything that has been said. They are very hard to keep, they can get runny nose at the drop of a hat and stress so easily.
I keep tunisians also and they are the same, they are fragile and do get runny nose if you dont get it right.
Stars dont hibernate but yet again very fragile.
Red foots are great tortoises if you have the space and easy to keep, plus they dont hibernate.

I keep an egyptian and have had it quite a few years now. They are fragile but with care can be kept successfully. I know a lot of tort people on here do not agree with my methods so I am not going into that.
