Default egyptian torts

does anyone know where i can find an egyptian tort breeder?

im interested in getting one maybe next year when my 2 babies will be outside in a perminant enclouser as at the mo there in a large tort at night and i will also be hibernating from next winter too (was too scared this year cos there so tiny)

which means i will have a big empty table which i need to fill...

I know of one breeder, but the babies are very expensive and there is a waiting list.

These tortoises really aren't for the inexperienced keeper, perhaps you should consider another small species that doesn't hibernate. I keep morrocan T.g.graeca, which don't hibernate and are delightful little torts.

I have to say though its always worth having a big empty table incase you need to put your hermanns in it when outside conditions aren't suitable.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but can you tell us more about the morrocan T.g.graeca pls? I'm looking for my first tortoise and would like one that doesn't hibernate. Pics would be great too if possible
