I know of one breeder, but the babies are very expensive and there is a waiting list.
These tortoises really aren't for the inexperienced keeper, perhaps you should consider another small species that doesn't hibernate. I keep morrocan T.g.graeca, which don't hibernate and are delightful little torts. I have to say though its always worth having a big empty table incase you need to put your hermanns in it when outside conditions aren't suitable.

i feel im quite confident with my hermanns... whta size do morrocan T.g.gracea get to? |
