Default sawdust and hay

why are swadist and hay bad for turtles as mine has a bed of hay and a base of sawdust in his table im new to keeping please advise me

Hay harbores mold and disease so it is not used very much. And if you did mean turtles it is more prone to harbore disease as they willg et it wet.

SORRY did not mean turtle i ment tortoise i had been reading a turtle post and had them in mind

maybe you should sort out keeping youre tortoise properly before you start thinking of turtles.
