Could somebody advise which would be best for young (approx 3 years old) leopard torts - Im currently looing at the mega-ray bulb but dont know which would be best the 100 watt or 160 watt?

For leopards with larger enclosures I would go for the higher wattage. Raised higher they would cover a larger area. Remember though that if the hot spot covers the entire table the tort would not be able to escape the heat

Thanks Sue, luckily they have a nice large indoor enclosure so should have a good temp gradient - just as a matter of interest does anybody know if the mega-rays are as good as the trex as have only ever had experience with the trex but have found the mega-rays to be cheaper - obviously I dont want the cheaper bulb to be detrimental to my torts health so would prefer to get some feedback first. Latest stats point to the megaray being better all round it seems, although I have not tried them personally yet, so just going on what other experienced keepers are saying
