Thanks Sue, good idea... I'll leave the door open tonight and see whether that makes a difference. If it's still going to be too cold I'll resite the table rather than move the tort at night.

I definitely won't forget to post pics, there could be quite a few

Whoever recommended this Sarah did not spend time with us in the Med in spring. I had two blankets and was much colder than I ever am at home in bed<g> Torts came out quite happily from their damp hiding places and nested during the day time If this was going to be the cse for the whole year then I personally would recommend a setup in a place that did stay a little warmer at night but have never done so with any of my torts for over 25 years and rarely have vets visits and then never for problems related with temps or habitat.

Tried this last night and it worked a treat the min temp went up by 4 degs to 11. Thanks for the tip, for some reason I'd have never thought of doing that

LOL - I have two dogs who soon tell me to open the door when it gets a bit cool for them There is a fate at the bottm of my stairs to keep them downstairs so they can come into the kitchen and no further, crruel Mummy that I am
