Do terrapins shed their skin? Noticed one of the terrapins has clear stuff coming off its rear feet

Torts do, so I would ASSUME turts do too!

Yes they do shed their skin, and unlike tortoises they shed their scutes too. The skin should come away cleanly and look a bit like peeling sunburn, if it looks kind of mushy that might be something else.
