as u kno i have a viv and im in the mist of swapping

i want to keep u all updated on what im gonna do so u can tell me off when i do it wrong lol

i went to b&q to day and got....


PLAY SAND


TOP SOIL


MDF TO SEPERATE HEMP FROM MUD


AND SOME NEW FURNITURE

HE WILL BE MOVEING INTO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

indoor rabbit cages are very good for housing hatchlings and youngsters.

do bare in mind that it will need replacing in a couple of years (not sure how old your tort is?)

Have you seen pauls thread on how to make an enclosure on the cheap Indoor tort enclosure...on the cheap! < shows you pretty much step by step what to do

well he's a hermans tort they stay smallfor quite along time dont they well he's only little anyway lol

he's 4yo he was an 04CB

Wowser! I thought the cage was tiny until I saw him in there But it will need replacing, yes.

It pretty basic from here. Give the cage a good clean lob in the sand/soil and add the hide at the kool end. Is his water bowl big enough for him to get in?

you could fit 4 or 5 of him in his water bowl

how wet do you need to keep the soil??

not wet/damp as such but moist. I think of it like a plant pot.. so the soil doesnt just crumble..so it has some structure as they like to dig..if that makes any sense?
