Default More questions!!

Hey

Since finding out my horsefield should not be kept in a vivarium, I am looking to either buy or make a tortoise table (depending if I can sell the viv, depends if i buy or make :op) I have read a lot of the issues folk have raised in other threads, however I am curious if it is ok to put a tortoise table on the floor or if leaves the tortoise succeptable to draughts?

Also, does anyone know any good sites or info on where to get light fixtures online, if I need to make one? The construction of the table itself shouldn't be too much of an issue, I just want to make sure I have the right lighting for my wee one

As much info as possible would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

providing the tort table has high sides i can't see draughts getting in. Also if the substrate is nice n deep the tortoise will burrow down anyways, so should remain unaffected in theory

Keeping the table on the floor is fine so long as there are no dogs and small children around.
